Who else but the City of Greater Dandenong combine two events on one night at the same venue! Tirhatuan Park is the hotspot to be at for both events and the date is Saturday 21st of March 2015.

For the Twilight Fun Run, which is being run by the City of Greater Dandenong in partnership with Healthy Together and the YMCA, come along to the Tirhatuan Park, Outlook Drive (enter via Kriegel Way) in North Dandenong for event check ins and registrations from 5pm. Even though this is a free event, registrations are essential. Race time is staggered and starting times begin from 5.30pm. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome.

There's a 3km course ideal for prams, families with children and older adults supervising children. The 5km course is the one you want if you're seeking a bit more of a challenge. The 8km course is not just for keen runners but also for walkers and those who regularly participate in fun runs.

On to the next freebie event and what a great one for the kids. City Under the Stars is presented by City of Greater Dandenong and Rotary Club of Dandenong. The event starts at 6pm but the movie does not screen till 8.30pm, giving those in the fun run time to get back, relax and enjoy the show.

Not only do you get to sing along with Elsa at this special screening of Disney's movie 'Frozen', this family friendly event sports a BBQ, free animal farm, free jumping castle and a sing-a-long disco with Elsa and Anna from 7.30pm to 8.30pm before the film begins.

Grab your blankets, seats and picnic to enjoy an evening under the starts at Tirhatuan Park (Enter via Kriegal Way off Outlook Drive) North Dandenong (Melway Ref: 81 F8).

In case of rain, the venue will be Rosewood Downs Primary School, Murray Road, Dandenong North (Mel Ref: 81 D8).
