Melbourne's very own piece of Italy
Source: Tutto Bene Restaurant
This charming, rustic Italian restaurant is a treat for any lover of a good dinning experience.
Located on the second level of the Southgate complex, next to Melbourne's Yarra River, the restaurant has a spectacular view. It looks towards the city and the river, particularly the iconic Flinders St Station.
The prices are not real cheap, however, the food is worth the extra few dollars. The menu has a good range of dishes, despite not being extremely broad. There is something to suit most, from delicious risottos to meats and seafood, as well as gluten free options. The side dishes, especially the potatoes, are particularly worth a mention.
The service is commendable, with polite and attentive waiting staff and the decor is simplistic, yet beautiful, with a Mediterranean feel.
Tutto Bene is a great location for a family occasion or a quiet romantic evening.
It is a good idea to book, particularly latter in the week, as the seating area is rather small.
