Beautiful Turruwul Park Playground in Rosebery is an ideal place to take the little ones. The playground has been recently upgraded and features two climbing / adventure play units (both with slides; one suitable for toddlers and the other, larger slide for older children), a spider-rope climb, 5 swings (plus a smaller swing) and a little cubby house. The park is naturally shaded in the mornings by two gorgeous Morton Bay Figs, but does get some sun in the afternoon. The swings are in full sun.

Other Important Information:

Location: Turruwul Park, Rosebery. The Playground is on the corner of Primrose and Hayes Rd.

Parking: Very Easy. The park is not very large, and there is easy parking on all four sides of the park, within easy walking distance of the playground.

Coffee / Refreshments: Nothing nearby. You would need to head to Gardeners Road, or up Rothschild Ave; both a fairly long walk. There are bubblers in the park.

Toilets: Clean public toilets available onsite. The disabled loo also has change facilities.

Shade: **Naturally shaded in the mornings; some sun in the afternoon

Fenced: Only on the Primrose Ave side; not enclosed.

Verdict: A lovely park for a Saturday play with the little ones, if you live in the area.

The park also features a sporting field, two tennis courts, a handball wall and cricket nets. There is a covered bbq area as well, perfect for small functions.
