Trash and Treasure Market

Home > Sydney > Markets
Published December 2nd 2009
Essentially a neighbourhood garage sale on steroids, the Trash & Treasure market features a very eclectic range of new and secondhand goodies.

Though Sydney appears to be getting the short end of the stick with only 1 market gracing the delightful city (while Melbourne enjoys 3) the market, located in the suburb of Prestons in the south west, is also open for trading on Wednesday's - providing double the fun.

For those who prefer to shop the market is a true bargain hunters dream. If you love scouring stalls for that perfect secondhand find or if new and unusual is your flavour then the Trash & Treasure market caters to all tastes and budgets.

With stalls changing on a weekly basis, there's always something new to explore.

For those looking for a platform to sell it's never been easier. New or used stock are acceptable and no bookings are necessary, just show up on the day. Stalls are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

If you'd like to know more, visit the website.

Whether you're buying or selling, haggling or cashing in, it's hard to beat the lively atmosphere and tradition of a bustling marketplace.
