You know the old saying: one man's trash is another man's treasure, put this into practice this Sunday by coming along and seeing what amazing things you can find at the Trash 2 Treasure markets.



Every Sunday from 8am to 2pm, the Lilydale train station car park will be transformed into the treasure trove that will be the Trash 2 Treasure Markets.

Part of the funds they raise each week go to charity and the market will hold up to 130 stalls, with approximately 600 free car parking spaces nearby.

They are also promising lots of activities for children, which may include bouncing castles, pony rides and face painting.

Not only trash and treasure, the market is remarkably close to the Yarra Valley and boasts a range of gourmet produce, perfect for Christmas gifts.



At this point, it is just commencing and is a fairly small market, however, who knows how it will take off. Besides, if it's small, it's easier to get around and find your treasures.

At the end of the market every Sunday, one of the entry tickets will be drawn for a winning prize. That sounds like fun, who knows what treasures you may unearth!
