Interested in life extension, artificial intelligence and human enhancement? Then the Humanity conference on the weekend of the 5-6 May is not to be missed.

Humanity is an organisation that advocates for ethical human enhancement through the use of technology. Discussed over the weekend will be visions of a future profoundly influenced and changed by technological advancements.

Talks will cover life extension, human enhancement, artificial intelligence, the intersection of art and technology and future technologies.

Speakers include:
Natasha Vita More who is a media artist and theorist interested in art and design based approaches to transhumanist ideas such as life extension and human enhancement.

Aubrey de Grey , a biomedical gerontologist who studies the ageing process in order to develop strategies for significant life extension.

And Stelarc , a performance artist best known for growing an ear on his arm. He explores ways technology interacts and extends the capabilities of the human body.
