Do you have the desire to defy gravity and love the thrill of being tossed up into the air? If yes then trampolining might be a good sport to try. This popular Olympic sport is fun and yet needs some skill and physical activity. It consists of a trampoline on which gymnasts jump, somersault, bounce and perform acrobatics. Trampoline sports has 4 disciplines and you can read more about them here.

The sport has a wide appeal with kids as well as adults. Sydney has a number of trampoline schools and clubs that offer classes and organize events. Sydney Olympic park's sports centre organizes many such events and activities and the upcoming event is scheduled for 20th and 21st January 2010. The event is for kids and includes a qualified instructor teaching children how to trampoline and help them practice.

There are many trampoline schools too that offer classes for people of all ages and most of them encourage people to come and try one class for free and then join the course. Popular ones include the Sydney Trampoline School that offers Trampoline and Tumbling Classes for people of all ages. You can also enroll at your local YMCA for trampolining classes. There is also a Ryde Trampoline club that offers classes to people of all ages.

You can also plan to own and install a backyard trampoline in your house. Since this sport involves a lot of physical activity, it is important to be trained well or else trampoline under supervision in case of beginners. The tramp also needs to be of good quality and free of risks of getting hurt. One of the popualar tramps available is Springfree trampoline.

This amazing sport is surely easy to try and quite enjoyable for the whole family. With the first lesson free at most schools, its definitely worth a try.
