With the warmer weather (finally on the way), Bendigo is offering a fantastic array of events for all to enjoy. From the inaugural Moonlight Market to the popular Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival and the Bendigo Bank Fun Run, there is something for everyone.

The exciting Moonlight Market has now launched and is held monthly in the Hargreaves Mall, from 6pm to 10pm. It features live music, street performers, arts, crafts, vintage finds and great food. It is held once a month until March 2016 (upcoming dates 24/10, 21/11, 5/12, 23/1, 13/2 and 12/30).

If you want to sample the best regional wines, head to Bendigo Heritage After Dark on October 9. This showcase of local fine wine and architecture will be held in the majestic Bendigo Town Hall.

Then on October 10 and 11, the annual Heathcote Food and Wine Festival will be held. This spectacular event is located just half an hour up the road in Heathcote and will feature the participation of 40 producers! The region's amazing local produce will also be showcased over the weekend.

On October 31, The Big Hill Food and Wine Festival will take place in Belvoir Park Estate. Enjoy a wine, beer, cider and food extravaganza with live entertainment in this stunning setting.

The Vegecareian Festival will also be held on the same day. This year's theme is 'Love Food – Love Animals and Love Life'. There will be various activities and stalls including cooking demonstrations by Emma Dean (2013 MasterChef Winner), veggie gardening workshop, dog grooming lessons, live entertainment and more.

Come November, it's time for the popular Bendigo Bank Fun Run made up of a 5km walk and a 5km, 10km, 15km and 21.1km run. The course is set within the Bendigo CBD amongst the historic buildings. Funds raised this year will support Rehabilitation Services at Bendigo Health and registration is now open.

Coinciding with the Melbourne Cup is the annual Jayco Bendigo Cup and the 'Fashions on the Field' and to conclude Spring the Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival will be held from November 5 to 8. This year's impressive program features over 170 acts in 45 venues including Rosalind Park, The Capital Theatre and the new Ulumbarra Theatre.

Whether you're a foodie, a wine lover, a music enthusiast just looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, Bendigo is the place to be this Spring.
