1. Melbourne Food & Wine FestivalDegustation menus, pop-up bars, restaurant express signature series, free entertainment, and family friendly interactive activities are only some of the 200 plus events at the
Melbourne Food & Wine Festival which will inspire you try new flavours, discover new places, and make your own culinary creations. Free and ticketed events from 27th February through to 15th March.
2. Formula One Grand PrixFrom 12th March through to 15th March, Albert Park will become a bustling hub for Formula One racing. Be a part of the action with
general admission tickets priced from $39 (Thursday) to $79 (Sunday), available online at
www.grandprix.com.au or at the gate.
3. Melbourne International Comedy Festival Laugh out loudly at the
Melbourne International Comedy Festival , running from 25th March through to 19th April. One of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, the program includes stand-up comedy, cabaret, theatre, street performance, film, television, radio and visual arts from international and Australian performers. Tickets from $20 during the festival. Or for discount prices from $10, check out preview shows from 26th til 30th March, as well as select days throughout the festival. 4. Moonlight CinemasBefore the chill of winter sets in, enjoy a movie at the
Moonlight Cinema , outdoors in the Botanical Gardens. Running through until 29th March, this is a perfect evening of romance with your loved one or an evening of relaxation with friends.
Tickets from $14.50 (child) to $19 (adult).
5. Free FestivalsMelbourne continues to host an array of free cultural, community, music,and food festivals throughout March, with entertainment and activities for free, and food for purchase. Check out
