The Timeline Festival is an annual event involving over 300 historical re-enactors from all across Australia and represents over 2,000 years of history from the Dark Ages through to World War I.

This year's Timeline Festival will be held at Kryal Castle from 30 to 31 August. Kryal Castle is an Australian replica medieval castle located 8 kilometres east of Ballarat.


A range of activities for everyone to enjoy including; full contact combat demonstrations, combat archery, black powder musket volleys, multi-period living history displays, military encampments, period merchants, and of course, the magnificent Kryal Jousting Team.

So come and take a walk through time and see how people lived, worked and survived across the ages.


Visit Kryal Castle during the last weekend in August to enjoy the spectacle which is the Timeline Festival.
