The Arkaba presented ' This is How We Do It' R&B Party was held for one show only at The Arkaba - Top of the Ark on Sunday 1st October 2017 at 9pm. The Arkaba was filled with R&B fans ready to party. People were lining up to take pictures in front of the 'This is How we Do it' graffiti sign while others headed straight for the dance floor and danced under a spinning dollar sign.

The night started with DJ Anthony Djfbi at 9pm followed by Lisa DAndrea at 9:45pm. As the night moved through the hits, the DJ's changed every 45 minutes, each with a unique spin on their choice of R&B music. Fans were excited to hear favourites like Fatman Scoop's 'Be Faithful', TLC's 'No Scrubs' and Eminem's 'The Real Slim Shady'.

At 10:30pm, Adrien-Aj Mee took to the stage with some old school classics and some songs that some of the audience were not familiar with but got down to. As the night continued, The Arkaba began to fill up and by Victor Lopez's set at 11:15pm, everyone was pumped and ready for the act of the hour - Dante Thomas. Thomas is known by R&B fans for his famous hit 'Miss California'. Fans screamed and danced along with this DJ.

Post midnight, the old school hits kept coming including Beyonce's 'Naughty Girl' and Montell Jordan's 'This is How We Do It'. The crowd favourites were Krispy the DJ at 12:15pm and Aikman at 1pm, whose sets were accompanied with dancers. At 12:55pm there was a special event at the Arkaba - The EK (Extra Krispy) dance crew were back together for one night only. The Adelaide based dance crew stole the show with a showstopping routine.

The R&B Party ran into the early hours of the morning and closed with awesome sets from Souli and Jaki J. 'This is How We Do It' is a celebration of old-school R&B music at its best and the audience loved partying till the early hours of the morning together.
