Things are heating up in Adelaide in February, the weather is warm, festival fever has hit and love is in the air with Valentine's Day on Thursday February 14th, 2013.

The history of Valentine's Day is somewhat of a mystery. There are several different, but commonly accepted, legends regarding the origins. Most accounts are tragically romantic like the priest sent to his death on February 14th for secretly and illegally marrying young couples. It is believed that on his final evening he wrote a note for a special someone and signed it "From your Valentine". And so began the great Valentine's Day card giving tradition.
