The Wiggles exhibition is on again at the Powerhouse Museum from now until the 23rd of September 2013. If you are planning on seeing the Wallace and Gromit's World of Invention exhibition , your ticket price also includes entry to The Wiggles exhibition. Otherwise your ticket to see The Wiggles is included in your museum entry - general. The exhibition is excellent and utterly colourful; there is a space dedicated to all of the four Wiggles characters, as well as to Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Feathersworld.

The space is inviting and for Parents, there is a dedicated pram parking corner upon exhibition entry.

The exhibition brings together some 20 years of Wiggle history. You will learn about how The Wiggles became a popular children's band in 1991; Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Greg Page decided to record an album of children's songs as a result of the previous training, these three members of The Wiggles had in early childhood education. Anthony brought friend and former band mate, Jeff Fatt into the band, and the rest is history.

Expect to see an exhibition with clothing, guitars and fan letters directed to every member of The Wiggles. There is also a computerised portal for kids to test their Wiggles knowledge. Plus there is also an opportunity to jump aboard and have a little ride on the "Big Red Car." Ample dancing, playing and drawing space is available. Everything dedicated to The Wiggles is here, including all of their ARIA and other album awards.

Dorothy the Dinosaur also has her own garden, and there is a cute kids cubby house area where roses can also be made nearby. It is a great space where you don't know what is going to happen next.

Upon leaving The Wiggles exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum, parents can pick up a free The Wiggles Big Aussie Road Trip book, which features the story of The Wiggles setting off on a big adventure. However their Big Red Car is in for a service, so they hire two cars and travel around the country stopping at famous locations like The Great Barrier Reef and Monkey Mia. Kids are given the opportunity to colour in their Big Red Car, as well as learn about road safety with a couple of other games included.

If your child is having a birthday between now and when the exhibition ends in September 2013, the Powerhouse Museum can host a 'Wiggly' birthday party for your child and seven of his/her friends for a fixed price of $250 on weekdays, and $300 on weekends. Additional children cost $25 each, capped at an additional four children, 12 in total including your birthday child.

This package includes exclusive use of The Wiggles party room with a dedicated party host and entry to this exhibition for eight adults as well. The birthday child receives a gift and certificate. Printable The Wiggles party invitations are also provided with a set party menu and lolly bags, The Wiggles party items and games. This party package is designed for children ages 2-6.

Highly recommended exhibition.

Worth visiting The Powerhouse museum for - your kids will have a blast.

"People quite often refer to us as an empire, but we don't really think about it like that...we are really hands on. It's something we've built up from nothing." - Murray
