The Wiggles are very popular among children. They have a worldwide following, from Australia and New Zealand to the UK and the United States. Every Aussie kid knows the Wiggles by name and by shirt colour. They are very much local, proudly Australian, and their success is phenomenal. The group is, by any measure, an Australian icon.

[ADVERT]If you have slept for some time, or time simply slipped by, you may be surprised that The Wiggles are no longer the four-man team that was Anthony (blue), Greg (yellow), Murray (red), and Jeff (purple). From 2006 to 2012, Greg was replaced by Sam. At the end of 2013, however, Greg, Murray and Jeff all retired, with only Anthony left of the original Wiggles. The yellow shirt is now worn by the first female member of The Wiggles, Emma. Simon (red) replaced Murray, while Lachy (purple) replaced Jeff.
