The Whitlam Leisure Centre, located in Liverpool in Sydney's South West, is a one-stop sport, fitness and entertainment centre offering the local community a huge range of facilities suitable for all ages.
The
centre offers indoor and outdoor pools for toddlers right through to squad swimmers, a spa, sauna, physiotherapy services, a 3,000 seat stadium, function rooms, a café and a fully equipped fitness centre offering group fitness classes and professional exercise programming.
The aquatics centre consists of three indoor pools; a 25 metre training pool, a large leisure pool with whirlpool and a water slide, and a toddler pool as well as dressing areas, a large spa and the sauna room.
Outside is another 2 pools including a 50 metre competition pool often used for sporting carnivals and squad meets. Swimming lessons for children and adults are held 7 days a week all year round, mornings and afternoons, for ages 6 months and up. Special needs and private classes are available. All instructors are Austswim qualified and hold current resuscitation certificates.
Why not organise a wet & wild party for your child's next birthday? Kids (and those of us who are still kids on the inside) love the large inflated floating playground that can be set up either outside in Summer or indoors for the cooler months.

During the school holidays the centre runs a vacation care program designed for primary school aged children. The program makes use of the entire centre and kids are supervised while playing soccer, gymnastics, basketball, swimming as well as going out on excursions to other nearby local attractions.
The stadium, with retractable grandstand seating, caters to all indoor sports including basketball, futsal, netball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and junior gymnastics. Why not join a local team and learn a new sport? Music concerts and dancing competitions also held here are always popular.
The sports hall, as well as the other function rooms with licensed bar facilities, are available for hire and local community groups often use the facilities for festivals and cultural events such as the recent Indian Bridal Show and planned monster Zumba marathon.

The fitness centre is home to a state of the art health club. Health and fitness activities include weight resistance programming, group fitness, personal training, boot camp, specialised programming for children, special needs groups and low impact training.
