The Wax Museum

Published December 17th 2010
Stand next to John Howard and have your photo taken with Kylie Minogue – as well as dozens of other movie stars, world leaders and villains – at The Wax Museum (56 Ferny Avenue, Surfers Paradise).

The museum showcases realistic wax replicas of famous and infamous figures from around the world and throughout time – from Michelangelo and the early renaissance through to modern times. Also on display are reproductions of mythical creatures, crown jewels, nursery rhyme characters and dioramas of moments in history. The exhibits are split into two sections; World in Wax presents an assortment of famous and well known figures, while Chamber of Horrors is dedicated to the gruesome and macabre.

The Wax Museum is open seven days a week and entry is $28 per adult.
