Fancy dress parties can be a lot of fun. Abandoning usual social norms, pretending to be someone else for the night and seeing friends do the same all makes for a great night. Not always as much fun, however, is finding the right costume for the party.

It could be said that I tend to take fancy dress parties a bit too seriously. I obsess over finding the right costume and often still haven't got it sorted the day of the party. Luckily, The Wardrobe in Chatswood is there to help with all my costume hire needs.

The Wardrobe is one of the best known costume shops in Sydney, with a huge selection of costumes on offer. I visited The Wardrobe to find a costume for my 21st birthday, and I could not recommend it more highly. I arrived at the shop with a very specific costume in mind (Willy Wonka) and Wardrobe staff helped me track down each individual element of the costume until it was complete, felt top hat and all.

The only reason finding a costume at The Wardrobe may take a while is because it is easy to get caught up browsing through their enormous collection. The costumes are very easy to find as they are organised into easily understood categories. Friendly staff are always available to help track down just the right costume and truly don't mind how much fun you have trying different things on.

Fancy dress parties can make for great weekend memories. Get the fun started even before the party kicks off with a trip to the Wardrobe in Chatswood.
