Looking for something a little bit different to finish of the your latest recycled/ retro/ vintage interior design phase? could have just what you're looking for.

Located in Tyabb on the Mornington Peninsula, it is home to around 60 stall sites all located within the one shed and directly opposite it's sister building, The Vintage Emporium .

Inside the shed is a varying degree of contents that range from vintage and retro furniture, industrial, hand knitted jumpers and rugs, books, cards, pottery and ceramics, children's toys, tools, medical equipment, ship lights and wheels, clothing, nick-nacks, even a 1983 Honda motorbike along with many other interesting things.

I have been a regular customer at since it first opened around 5 years ago. I managed to get many great buys over the years with my favourite being a Blackwood table that was over 100 years old. I have since sold it as we moved house but being antique it didn't lose any value at all. I think that's the great thing about buying pre loved furniture, it's not like the latest fashion item that's only built to last a short period of time. If you decide to go for a different look, changing your furniture doesn't cost a fortune and you can generally sell it for the same price, if not more.

When I last visited I felt the overall quality wasn't as good as what it has been, however with it being spring new stock should start to come in and the quality will pick up. Their blog is a great way to check what new stock has arrived.

There are a few interesting new stalls that I hadn't previously seen here, one in particular that caught my attention was the medical equipment stall, it's interesting in a weird way but I wouldn't want it on display in my home, though it could could come in handy for veterinarians.

I really liked the cuteness of the stall above, with all the vintage fabrics and cheery children's toys and furnishings.

I'm sure the men will like having a dig around the tool store. It doesn't matter how many you have, there are always plenty more you don't have and need.

Prices vary depending on items and stall holders. If you really like something that seems a little pricey, it's possible to negotiate with the stall holder, though I think you will agree that most items are fairly priced.

If you would like to have a look through , it's located at 93 Mornington - Tyabb Rd, Tyabb open Monday 11am - 3pm (for restocking but all are welcome) Thursday - Sunday 10am - 5 pm. They also open more during school and public holidays so make sure you check the website above.
