The Tea Emporium and Tea Room on High Street in Mansfield is a tea lover's paradise. Occupying two stores, one side is dedicated to the Tea Emporium which offers an enormous range of tea-wares including specialty tea pots, beautiful vintage pieces, cups and saucers and bone china. They also sell a huge variety of loose teas, novelties, tea towels and gorgeous little tea-themed knickknacks. You can lose yourself in there for quite some time as there are so many things to look at while you enjoy the range of free teas to sample.

Luckily, right next door is the Tea Room, just waiting for weary shoppers. The beautiful, cosy wingback chairs will lure you in and keep you cocooned in their comfort as you sip your tea. The Tea Room has been decorated with care and provides a warm, comfortable environment away from the hustle and bustle but still provides a bird's eye view of the happenings outside. Crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling and the walls reflect a Tiffany-blue hue.

On the menu you will find an extensive selection of teas to choose from (in fact, more than 50 varieties), served in lovely pots of course. And, not only do they serve the traditional Devonshire Tea - their scones laden with locally made jam and lashings of cream - but they have a huge selection of homemade cupcakes, cheesecakes and tarts to accompany your tea. Also available to tempt you is a selection of macarons, those tiny delectable biscuits that just melt in your mouth and with ten flavours to choose from, it's hard to stop at just one.
