You can swing with the chimpanzees, trumpet with the elephants, and hop with the kangaroos this coming summer when Taronga Zoo once again presents its
Twilight @ Taronga Summer Concert Series every weekend from Saturday 28 January 2012 to Saturday 31 March 2012.
Concerts
Saturday 28 January: The Church, recent inductees to the ARIA Hall of Fame, will perform their many Australian rock hits.
Saturday 3 February: Be
Bjorn Again with Abba mania and hear the hits that defined the seventies.
Friday 10 & Saturday 11 February: James Reyne and Mark Seymour. The former frontmen of Australian Crawl and Hunters and Collectors will perform separately and together.
Friday 17 & Saturday 18 February: Tom Burlinson will swing his way through crooner and big band classics for your enjoyment.
Friday 24 & Saturday 25 February: Marina Prior (with Kane Alexander) will present her favourite Broadway musical tunes.
Friday 2 & Saturday 3 March: Prepare to be rocked with the
All Star Salute to Queen featuring the talents of Mark Williams (Dragon), Tania Doko (Bachelor Girl) and many others.
Friday 9 & Saturday 10 March: Diesel's high energy show will include rock hits from his twenty-year career.
Saturday 10 March: Celebration of Michael Jackson will showcase his hits, performed by a guest singers, dancers and an all-star band.
Saturday 15 March: the Rock Around the Clock 50's Night will have you hopping, bopping and rocking to 50s classics from Buddy Holly, Elvis and more.
Saturday 24 March: Richard Clapton with special guest Wendy Matthews will entertain you with great melodies, memorable songs and lyrical vocals.
Saturday 31 March: Jazz maestro
James Morrison concludes the series with style and plenty of jazz pizazz.

Information
- Bring your rugs, low chairs and your own picnic fare, or purchase food and drinks on the night.
All concerts will be held in the scenic surrounds of the Concert Lawns and begin at 7.30pm, have a 20 minute interval and finish at 9.30pm.
Your ticket provides access to the Zoo from 3pm, but access to the Concert Lawns is from 6pm (you can queue near the Elephant enclosure from 5pm).
Alcohol restrictions mean you can only bring 1 bottle of wine for 2 people and 1 six-pack of beer between 4 people. No spirits allowed.
Limited car-parking is available for $16.

Ticketek and are $69 for adults, $39 for children aged 4 to 11, and $49 for juniors aged 12 to 18. A discounted rate of $59 applies to pensioners, students and the unemployed (ID required).
