Celebrate Halloween in a unique way at the family-friendly Spooktober Haunted House . Tour Malvern mansion The Gables as it is transformed into a house of horrors.



Following a successful first year in 2013, the Spooktober Haunted House is returning for a second year of frightening fun. The event runs over the Halloween weekend, from Thursday October 30 to Sunday November 2.

The main event is a guided tour of the mansion, with actors, special effects and props to give you a frighteningly fun experience. The night does not end there, with the gardens set up as a festival with rides, games, show bags and food stalls. Make sure to dress up, with prizes awarded for best costumes every half hour.

There are three tour options , depending on how much scariness you can stomach. There are daytime tours suitable for small children and those who scare easily, spookier tours in the afternoon and evening for older children, and night-time tours suitable for kids over twelve.

Opening night of the Haunted House is reserved for VIPs, which promises a more intimate experience with smaller tour groups and special VIP show bags. VIP night tickets cost $35 per adult and $25 per child. For the rest of the weekend, tours are $20 per adult and $15 per child. Family tickets can be purchased for $60.
