Come in from the cold and get reacquainted with your cosy local. The Spaniards Inn has been a staple by the Heath since the 16th century and is no wonder how it has lasted this long.
If you find yourself in the North West, just up Heath Street from Hampstead Tube and pass the Whitestone Ponds, you'll find The Spaniards Inn - a 16th century pub filled with the right amount of history, warmth and atmosphere to see you through the cold days ahead.
The menu is sure to appeal to all - carnivores, veggies, and seafood lovers. They change their menu often to ensure the best seasonal meals are on offer.
If you are lucky enough to stop in on a sunny day, be sure to enjoy a pint in their large beer garden. If the cold sets in, not to worry as there are heat lamps to keep you toasty.
Why not make the most of the crisp autumn days by spending the afternoon at the Heath and head to Spaniards Inn for a drink or two. If you happen to bring your 4-legged friends, they have dog biscuits and water bowls available so they can enjoy a relaxing afternoon as well.
Like many others in the past hundreds of years, I continue to return to this hidden gem.
