From the car park entrance, a short narrow corridor leads visitors to the bistro area, both modern and impressive in size. Tables and booths stretch from the bar on your left to the open kitchen and service counters at the opposite end of the dining area.
Clever partitioning divides up small sections of the bistro. Diners for example can sit partially screened from the service area without losing the feel of the open space.
The chance to see straight into the kitchen as steaks are cooked and meals are plated is handy for two reasons. Firstly, the standard to which food preparation areas are maintained is clearly visible. Secondly, staring at the hive of activity helps pass the time as you stand in line to order. Waiting times will vary depending on the meal and how busy the kitchen is at the time.
Spanning the wall above the service counter is the bistro's menu, offering a selection of starters and light meals, char grilled steaks and burgers. There is also a fun kids menu with meals and side combinations for less than $10.
If you're after something substantial but not in the mood for a steak or burger, then a Chicken caesar wrap for $15 is a good option. Usually served with a side of hot chips, upon request the chips can be swapped for cooked veggies at no extra charge.
