What would you expect to pay for some of the finest gourmet pancakes in Brisbane? If you're thinking more than $15 your savings account is going to thank you. A 24 hour licensed restaurant, has been serving low-cost, quality food for over 30 years. This renowned Brisbane restaurant is known by locals as the place to go for gourmet pancakes and crepes, steaks and burgers straight from the grill and popular late evening/early morning snacks after a night out with friends.

Expect to pay just $10 to $15 for one of their gourmet dessert pancakes. Personally, I think the names alone are worth that amount. Choose from delights like the Blueberry Heaven Jaffa Orange, Hot 'n' Troppo, Macadamia Madness, Chocolate Jewels, Blackforest Cherry or Brandied Apricots for only $12.95 each.

If crepes are more your style there is a large range of gourmet mouthfuls to choose from like the Greek Delight, Mexicana or for vegetarian diners the Vegetable Crepe. Entrée size crepes will cost you a mere $14.95 and a main size $20.95. All crepe dishes are served with a garden salad on the side.

On the menu is what's known as Brisbane's number one gourmet dessert crepe, The Ultimate, priced at $14.50. Meatier dishes are available like the gourmet beef or chicken burger straight from the grill for just over $20. A ribeye steak dish cooked just how you like it will cost you under $30.

There are plenty of side orders and smaller meals to choose from like wedges, nachos, ceaser salad or The Classic ("original potato pancakes with melted cheese, grilled pineapple and banana served with sour cream, hollandaise sauce and a crisp garden salad").

The Good Knight Bar
Want to relax after dinner? Part of and situated directly underneath the restaurant is The Good Knight Bar. Opening in 2005, the bar has a reputation for providing drinks at low prices. It features music, pool tables and televisions screens for sport lovers. You can hire the venue free of charge for any social or private function and they cater for all size groups – small and large.
