Driving past the picturesque rolling hills of McLaren Vale you'll come across the
Olive Grove and Lloyd Brothers Winery. The McLaren Vale vineyards grow mainly shiraz grapes and kalamata olives, and these can all be bought and tasted at their Cellar Door.

Lloyd's sell their kalamata olives in five different varieties. Get the regular olives, or have the seasoned olives in either chilli, herb, garlic, and devil's chilli. Their delicious olives can also be bought as pestos, mustards, and tapenades. Some of these are also available for tastings. The olives are also used in the high quality olive oils available for sale and for tasting. You can also get a chance to taste some of the other sauces and condiments for sale, including their wild lime, chilli and ginger suace, and their chilli plum shiraz sauce. You'll have to try and stop yourself from buying one of everything. Make the most of it because you can't buy these from other stores but you can grab some things online.

There are a range of other items available for purchase in the store. This includes edibles like jams, honey, biscuits, chocolates, pasta sauces, and pastas. You can also grab some goat or cow's milk feta, that can be tasted by request. If you're not searching for food you can also find handcrafted soaps and body-care products, Alpaca products like bedding and clothes, and kitchenware for creating gastronomic masterpieces with your newly purchased goods. The Lloyd Brothers Winery is about fresh eating and fresh living.

There are only shiraz varieties grown at the McLaren Vale vineyard, but you can try both shiraz and other varieties grown in the Adelaide Hills at the cellar door. While you're there enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the winery. You can set up a picnic on the lawns outside the cellar door. Make sure you've stocked up on some delicious food and wine to enjoy outside. There is a scenic lake, and you can stare out at the rows of olive trees on the property. Kids will love the winery's Alpacas that graze in the paddock next to the picnic spot. If you're lucky they might come over and say hello, but just hope they don't spit on you.
