The Narrow is Gordon Ramsey but in pub form. Meaning pub-esque dishes and some pub staples, but with a bit more flash to them. Consider a few of your supping options:
Poached grimsby smoked haddock with white asparagus, poached hen egg, lemon and herb sauce, £14.50, braised berkshire pork belly with broccoli, pine nuts and smoked bacon, £17.50, and beer-battered hake, hand-cut chips and mushy peas £13.00.
The menu is only about the same length as a standard pub menu, and the prices are only a little bit over what you'd pay down your local (if it's a gastropub) and the drinks menu is better than most pubs as well – they do a couple of real ales as well as beers, ciders, flavoured beers and a restaurant length wine list. So there's plenty of reasons to try Gordon Ramsey out here. What is a bit random is the location – it's lovely, but a bit remote. Near enough to Canary Wharf in the week, but in a strange bit of almost suburban London on the weekends. If you like it you might still end up being a regular – apparently they have a few who travel a long way for their regular pint with benefits.
The cherry eton mess at £7.00 is a good way to finish.
