Where's NSW's most romantic holiday destination
According to you?

Where do you go when you're looking for a romantic weekend away with someone special? From the ocean to the mountains and the outback, NSW has a diverse range of holiday options for old-school romantics.

Right near the top of the list would have to be the Hunter Valley. A weekend spent touring the cellar doors and sampling some of the beautiful local produce sounds pretty good to anyone's ears, and there's no shortage of romantic cottages and villas to stay in.

Continuing the winery theme, heading west from Sydney takes you to Mudgee, an area with plenty of romantic guesthouses and B&Bs. It's also a great spot for weddings set against beautiful vineyard backdrops.

Where's the most romantic spot for long walks on the beach?

Next on the list is of course the Blue Mountains. Katoomba, Leura and the surrounding areas have long been the romantic getaway of choice for plenty of Sydneysiders. Quaint shops, crisp mountain air and the feeling of seclusion all help to create an atmosphere that is very conducive to romance.

Looking to the south, the Southern Highlands offer plenty of opportunities for a sleepy autumn weekend. Throw favourites like Kangaroo Valley and Berry into the mix as well, and choosing just one destination from all that NSW has to offer seems more and more difficult.

NSW Romantic Getaway
They may not quite compare to the city of love, but plenty of NSW destinations are made for romance.

And that's before you even start to consider all the beautiful beachside spots that are just made for couples getaways. Gerroa, Jervis Bay, Narooma and a number of other spots all the way down to the Victorian border are all well worth investigating. On the north coast, it's hard to go past places like Byron Bay and Seal Rocks.

But what do you think? Where is the best spot for a romantic getaway in NSW?

How does a modern house on completely private and secluded 100 acres with your own lap pool, ocean views, spa bath, robes and a bottle of Moet in Crescent Head on the Mid-North Coast sound? New listing, still have vacancies for Summer and Valentines Day. Check us out at crescentheadaccommodation.net or look for Crezzo Point View on TakeABreak, Stayz, and AirBNB
