I'm just your average Melbournian who knows how to have a great time in her home city. Vising my blog motivates you to love the small things this great city has to offer.

Before I begin this article I must admit that Lord of The Rings is one of my favourite movie trios of all time. I know the script by heart and watch all three every fortnight hoping to stumble across something I hadn't noticed before. But my obsessive viewing of the films has led to finding things in it that are just plain irritating and piss me off.

Bloody Hobbits: Peter Jackson has no sense of proportion. One minute the hobbits are the size of nine year old children; the next, they are the size of teenagers. I don't get it. What is hobbit size?

10, 000 Orcs my ass. There were at least 100, 000 Orcs at the battle of helms deep.

"Shut Up Legolas". Even when everyone knows what's going on Legolas feels the need to describe what's happening.

He's a taken man you mere mortal. It is very embarrassing seeing Eowyn hit on Aragorn especially when we know what Arwen looks like.

Frodo The Ungrateful. It really does break my heart to see everyone cheering for Frodo at the gates of Mordor when it was Sam who had done all the work. Sam rescued Frodo from the Nazgul, he rescued him from the spider, rescued him from the Orcs when they kidnapped Frodo, rescued him from smeagol and Sam almost drowned himself just to be with Frodo. A bit ridiculous I must admit but it just highlights how ungrateful Frodo is because he doesn't show any appreciation for Sam until the very end of the film. Bloody Baggins.

I may seem very critical when you consider that Lord of The Rings is one of the greatest, most epic trilogies ever made. But hey, what can I say? If you love something you're going to find flaws in it. And if I have offended anyone in any way or if you have your own opinion of this film then I would love to hear it.
