"Freelance writer getting in touch with the city vibe" the Fletch
Published July 17th 2011
So last Saturday, some of the guys and I decided to head down to the city proper and enjoy a night out around Flinders Street. Well one thing led to another and we ended up moseying into The Joint Bar.

What was special about it you might ask? Pool tables. Everything else seemed typical so that nothing really stood out. Drinks were standard, music was the same top 40 that one hears in every pub/club, and the crowd was rather dead. Hell, the mates and our girls practically made the place.

Don't get me wrong, if this is your local pub and you enjoy the fact that on weekends it is rather dead, then by all means drink your sorrows away, it is your right. However, this cat recommends something else for all of those who are daring to do something that is a little more than average.
