Are you a dog mum or dad? If yes, you will love this place to take your pooch for a hair groom or day-care or doggy holidays or canine cab just on Windorah Street in Stafford in North Brisbane. is only 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and established shopfront since 2012.

One morning, I made a booking at in Stafford, North Brisbane, after ringing around looking for a spot for my Cavoodle whom had just run through a mud puddle and was due for a haircut. When we arrived, Suzi, the owner, greeted us at the door and had a chat with my pooch who instantly felt at ease. Her own dog, Finn, had just come out of the doggy salon and sported a very trendy do with her feathered tail dyed multi colours and, wow, those paws were now red boots. The dye that was used to process the colours was DYEX and is made with ingredients gentle to animals.

My dog occasionally suffers from separation anxiety and I was pleased that there was a good vibe in the Hutt as all the dogs waiting in the salon were relaxed. From the office/reception window, there was a view to a large rectangular gated area used for doggy daycares. I enquired about the doggy daycare and found out that it helps heal hound of separation anxiety throughout the day.

There were a few natural doggy treats at the office window for dogs in waiting too. My pooch shared her treats with the owner Suzi's dog Finn, the very handsome and trendy toy poodle. It was amazing to hear about Finn's history as a rescue dog as he looked so happy. Finn had lost all of his teeth as a consequence of ill-treatment and you will find that his tongue is always sticking out of his mouth.

Whilst my pooch was whisked away for her pre-cut, I began filling out the paperwork on my Cavoodle, and when I had finished, I looked up at the opposite wall to find pictures of all the doggy daycares they have had - it was very sweet. Once the paperwork had been filled out, there were a few different hairstyle options from short all over to fancy schmancy. The price was around the $80 - $90 range, however, I expect a haircut would last for 8 weeks. Suzi also gave me a voucher for an unlimited bathing promotion, woof some, for those adventurous dogs.

I bid farewell to my pooch leaving her in the hands of the stylists and drove off into the horizon knowing that my pooch was in good hands. A few hours later, I received a friendly text to notify me that my pooch was ready to be picked up at the hair salon. When I arrived to pick my pooch up, I could see that she had made friends with the dogs out back; the two poodles and a sleepy Beagle. My Cavoodle was also doing a pirouette which she does when she is happy, so I figured that she loved the short haircut. Perhaps next time, we will choose a haircut that is a little fancier with a teddy bear face and a feathery tail. They are open on Saturdays by appointment.
