On a beautiful crisp winter day, get warm and enjoy the outdoors with a walk along the Broadwater. You can start where Bayview Street meets Marine Parade at Biggera Waters, and make your way down to Labrador's Charis Seafood and back.
It's a good 50-minute walk - it's relaxing and what's more it's free.

Grab a friend for a chat or your iPod stocked with tunes for a quick yet moderate stroll in the sunshine.

There's lots of site seeing to be done, with boats zooming along the calm waters, and plenty of seats and playgrounds to hang out on. Edging closer to the Runaway Bay end of Marine Parade,
there are some exercise machines if you're feeling like a full-on work out. It is a great alternative to joining a gym - push bikes are also welcomed.

The wind can pick up quickly in the afternoons - so take a jacket that can be wrapped around your waist once you warm up.

Once you've made your way down to Labrador's Charis Seafood, you can continue the walk down Marine Parade passing The Grand Hotel where you'll find a nice picnic and BBQ area.

Parking is easy along Marine Parade; you should be able to find a park on the long strip.

Mid-afternoons or dusk are a busy time for runners, bike-riders and strollers.

Go down for a great place to sit and take in the Seaway view, talk with friends or even read a book on the water like this couple.
