A popular Adelaide tradition rolls around when the Adelaide Credit Union Christmas Pageant comes to town. Families flock along Adelaide's major streets in the early hours of the morning to make sure they have a good spot to watch the procession.

As the morning passes kids have got a great way to keep them for getting restless. With the streets cordoned off and bare children take to the streets with chalk in hand. Children are free to make their own chalk creations on some of Adelaide biggest streets like King William, Wakefield, or Pultney Street.

So make sure you pack away some chalk next time you head to the Christmas Pageant.
