On Saturday night, I went out for dinner to celebrate life. Local restaurant, The Bouzy Rouge on Bridge Road, provided the perfect setting. Plush décor comprising of sequined mousse heads, zebra stripes and jewelled crowns; the place oozes of class, luxury and indulgence.
If you fancy a quick bite or a supper fit for a king, Bouzy Rouge won't disappoint. We decided to err on the side of modesty and went for a selection of tapas including the pot of Bouzy Rouge Mussels, chickpeas, tomato, Spanish spices, chilli salted Calamari with chipoti aioli, warm roasted beetroot and pumpkin salad with papas bravas paprika spiced potatoes. We soon realised that modest was an understatement as the food arrived in generous portions leaving us in no doubt that we would be leaving feeling very satisfied!
No wonder this place was named Hotel of the Year – the luxurious interiors is matched in equal parts by its delightful flavoursome food yielding tastes from all corners of the globe. Service was both efficient and friendly and overall, this is one show I want to see again.
Bouzy Rouge at 470 Bridge Road, Richmond, is open 7 days for lunch and dinner.
