Following last year's success, Planet Ark invites Australia to participate in the
Big Aussie Swap during
National Recycling Week from November 9 to 15.
Councils around Sydney will be hosting public Swap Parties to raise awareness about reusing and recycling.
Last year, a Big Aussie Swap party was held at Martin Place which attracted more than 500 participants who swapped approximately 2,000 items.
This year Martin Place will be once again be transformed hosting an Aussie Swap party. This will take place on November 10 at 12.30pm. So bring along your pre-loved items – clothes, shoes, electrical equipment and anything worth swapping. They say one man's trash is another man's treasure!
