The Ritz. The crème de la crème of Afternoon Tea, where bookings are being made six months in advance. It remains so popular largely due to the unique and memorable experiences offered by the opulent and historical surroundings of the Palm Court and the time honoured traditions of the Ritz.
To set the scene, you can’t have your brew in any old get-up at the Ritz, a strict dress code applies, and if it is not adhered too, you may be asked to leave the premises. The tea rooms are adorned with lavish gold and cream furnishings, extravagant bouquets of fresh flowers and huge glittery chandeliers, which are the perfect accompaniments to indulge in their famous Chocolate Afternoon Tea, which must be ordered 48 hours in advance due to its unique preparation.

The famed 5 star hotel on Park Lane offers an award winning decadent selection of Afternoon tea, including High Tea, Laurent Perrier Rose tea (which is accompanied by – you guessed it – Rose Champagne), Champagne Afternoon Tea (accompanied by a glass of champagne or Rossini Cocktail), and of course Classic Afternoon tea, all served in the Promenade Room where you are also treated to light musical entertainment.
