Are you looking for something a little different these school holidays?

At The Automobile Lab kids can exercise their imagination, creativity and problem solving skills while they draw, digitize and test drive their dream automobile.

First, children will put pencil to paper and design their very own automobile, then watch their colourful creations come to life and immerse themselves in the Lab's virtual world. Next, their masterpiece will head to the track for a test drive. They can then head back to the workshop for another tinker to improve its performance and perform a re-test.


The pop-up installation will be running in Karrinyup Shopping Centre from the 11th-15th of July 2016. It's suitable for ages 4-12 only. Although free, bookings must be made online (and spaces are filling fast!).

Hands-on activities are a great way to both entertain and educate. The Automobile Lab is an art installation and workshop created and facilitated by Steve Berrick, Sam Price and Chris Nixon.

This project is proudly presented by City of Stirling, sponsored by Karrinyup Shopping Centre and funded by the Western Australian Government through the Department of Culture and the Arts.
