The 39 Steps

Tally ho chaps, it's time for some pencil-mustache derring-do in this spy thriller set just before the outbreak of the first world war.

Follow the enterprising Richard Hannay as he tries to uncover a German plot to murder the Greek Prime Minister and steal British plans for the outbreak of war.

Made famous by Alfred Hitchcock's 1939 adaption of the 1915 adventure novel by John Buchan, The 39 Steps has been adapted for the stage and has been a hit on Broadway and The West End.

It's now showing at the Sydney Opera House.

Get your tickets from the Opera House website.

WHEN: 31 July - 5 August
WHERE: Playhouse at the Sydney Opera House
