More mayhem, crazy inventions and catastrophic disasters
It all began with the book The 13-Storey Treehouse by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton. Other books in the series followed, and if that didn't create enough mayhem, riotous inventions and catastrophic disasters, we now have the stage production, of the best selling book, The 26-Storey Treehouse coming to Adelaide on 23 and 24 May 2015 at The Dunstan Playhouse.
These books created by Andy Griffiths and illustrated by Terry Denton, are credited with getting boys to read and enjoy reading.
The second book in the series has been adapted by award-winning playwright and author Richard Tulloch, The Book of Everything, and Bananas in Pyjamas.
Is this Andy and Terry at work, or at play?
In the 26-Storey Treehouse Andy and Terry live in together and create the wonderful stories and outrageous nutty adventures that are ridiculous and gross, but are at the same time very funny and entertaining. You will see more inventions, which means, of course, more things could go wrong! Naturally, that means there is every possibility the entire play could come tumbling down and be an utter disaster, resulting in you laughing your head off!
