As a mature twenty-something year old, when I chanced across this cafe, I knew I had to give it a try. The name of this cafe brought back memories, some fond and not so fond, of high school, which seems like forever ago now - sorry for being so cliche. Names aside, a quick search online revealed only positive reveals of the place, which just cemented my desire to pay them a visit, with Eddy in tow of course!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us the menu - there were so many options to choose from. There were two pages on breakfast items, with all your regular options and more - many of the items had a gluten free option available. The breakfast items include the "She Said Stack" (stack of sow stall free bacon, poached eggs, seasoned avocado, blistered cherry tomatos, grilled haloumi on a bed of baby spinach, balsamic glaze & a drizzle of hollandaise), which I assume is only available here at That's What She Said. I would've tried this if I wasn't allergic to eggs!

There are also plenty of lunch options available, with prices ranging from just $6.20 up. Although there is only one page in the menu on lunch items, there are also items available for order on the blackboard near the entrance of the cafe, so don't fret, because there are more than enough options - I'm sure you'll find something that suits you and your taste buds!

I ended up opting for the Smashed Avocado & Fetta on Toast option from the breakfast menu - freshly smashed and seasoned avocado, topped with cherry tomatoes and fetta cheese, served on tasty toasted sourdough with Balsamic Glaze, with Goats Cheese stuffed Mushrooms as an add-on. So good! My friend opted for the Smoked Salmon Bagel (bagel with smoked salmon, Spanish onion, cream cheese, capers and baby spinach), also from the breakfast menu - it looked equally delicious.

Of course, no good meal is complete without an equally good drink. Looking after Eddy is a full-time job, so of course, I had to get my daily caffeine fix! I got my usual order of cappuccino with soy milk, my trusty soy cap - it was made perfectly.

There were many, many drink options to choose from - there was one page on just cold drink options, and another on just hot drink options. I had a look, but I have problems deciding on what to order, so I decided to order my usual instead. Please let me know if you ever try out their other drinks and let me know how they taste, although I'm pretty sure they will be good!

There are also heaps of delicious looking baked desserts available for purchase in a glass display cabinet at the kitchen counter, including oreo cheesecake and brownie sandwiches - as if you needed more incentive to come pay them a visit!

There are both indoor and outdoor seating available - we of course sat outside because of Eddy. For a relatively small cafe, they had lots of seating available. There is also plenty of on-site parking in the carpark directly outside of the cafe.

They also have an awesome tip jar, with the words "finally able to afford a tip jar" on. Thank you to all their lovely tippers who together allowed them to purchase this!

If you're looking for a nice cafe with great food and drinks, friendly staff, a nice ambience, and an awesome name (to show off to all your friends when you check in on social media, of course), then this is the perfect place for you. Eddy and I live only 10 minutes away, so we will definitely be back sometime in the near future!
