Zombies and monsters and skulls, oh my!

If you're the kind of girl who likes zombies over princesses, or just zombie princesses, than you're the kind of girl who'd like , a store full of alternative clothing, jewellery and accessories.

Bright colours, dark colours, small sizes, large/plus sizes, unicorns, undead, makeup, hair dye, bows, beads, cushions, handbags, art, home décor, shoes, sunglasses, etc. etc. etc. sells a huge range of items for varying styles, tastes and fancies. As well as items that Dom (the owner) creates herself, stocks items from other well-known or emerging alternative clothing, jewellery and accessory designers. Some of the brands you may find at include:
Sourpuss
Manic Panic
Hell Bunny
Too Fast Clothing
Liquor Brand
Rockeresque Beauty Company
Kreepsville
Folter
Bonsai Kitten
Mermaid Killer
Pop Bobbleheads

used to be located on Lincoln Street, Strathpine (on Brisbane's north side), but in May 2013, owner Dom packed her pretty wares up and moved the store into the heart of Petrie (also on Brisbane's north side). is now located on busy Dayboro Road, on the roundabout, and is situated amongst a tattoo/piercing studio ( Bullseye ), an adult store ( Totally Adult ), a funky T-shirt place ( That T-Shirt Place ), a reptile store and a soon-to-be Ice Cream Parlour.

As the store sits right on the outskirts of the busy traffic junction it can be hard to spot, unless you know exactly what you're looking for. Locate the adult store and tattoo parlour (practically side-by-side) and you've almost got it; is two doors down from the tattoo/piercing studio. It's on the 'curve' of that block of stores, almost leading into the side street, River Street, adjacent to the Petrie Hotel and Woolworths. If you're looking to park, shares the privilege of a small concrete car park at the rear of the building, which you can successfully utilise by turning off the roundabout into River Street, and hooking two quick lefts – first into Cooke Street, then straight into the parking lot.

If you want further details on where to find , have a search on Google Maps .

As well as being a bright and welcoming physical store, has an online store and a Facebook page too. But don't be fooled, although having an online store is great for accessibility, promotions and information, Dom says that many people choose to limit themselves to the wares available online – essentially missing out on all of the goodies only available in-store. Crucial Note: it really is better to visit the store.

As of the beginning of August, 2013, has been happily homed in Petrie for approximately 8 weeks, and Dom is loving the new location (as the store is now even closer to my home, I'm loving it too). So if you like girly things mixed with morbid things, pretty things mixed with dead things, bright colours, big skirts and vintage looks – head on over to . But be prepared, you may not be leaving empty-handed.
