Spring is the time of year when everything comes out of hibernation, and Sydney is no exception. There is plenty to do around Sydney when the icicles on the fake ice rinks start to melt, so we've decided to search for Sydney's best spring activities. Let us know what you like to do when the flowers start to bloom, we've got a few ideas, but now we need your help.

One of the best places to start is the Royal Botanical Gardens. See unique plants and flowers from all around the world as they come to life during spring. Entry to the Royal Botanical Gardens & Domain is free, but there is a small fee if you want to visit the Tropical Centre. In late Spring the gardens are open until 8pm, so you'll be able to enjoy a star lit walk through the paths. You can take advantage of one of the free, guided walks, or you can just wander at your own pace. Flowers always seem their best in spring, so why not see them at one of Sydney's best gardens.

Spring is also the perfect time to enjoy good food. Winter has some delicious meals, that warm you from the inside out, but when spring comes to town it is all about enjoying light meals and delicate flavours. Spring gives you a great opportunity to sample some of these delights at the Crave Sydney International Food Festival. Enjoy cuisine from all over the world, and take part in fun activities for adults of children. Learn how food can help bring communities together, and why spring is such a great time to enjoy these tasty flavours.

Spring is also one of the best times to walk and explore the city. You don't have to battle with the same heat that summer brings, but when the sun in shining you'll find it the perfect time to explore the town. Why not take a walk along the Rocks, or along the beachfront. It is also a great time to check out some other outdoor sights like Taronga Zoo, where you can check out the animals enjoying the spring weather as much as you.

So what is your favourite springtime activity? We want to know what you do to celebrate the start of spring when it comes to Sydney. Let us know your secrets for getting the most out of one of Sydney's best seasons.
