Have you ever had that nightmare trip to the hair salon? When "just a trim" had you leaving with a bob, or when your platinum locks left looking a brighter shade of orange. Sometimes it can be hard to get across exactly what you want in a cut or colour, and sometimes your stylist just doesn't have a clue. We know that not all experiences are like this, and that there are some fantastic hairdressers all over Sydney, we just need to know where to find them.

Worst saloon ever...Mary did a $500 Keratin treatment(as advertised) in 45 mins. She was literally putting n burning my hairs while blow drying. Very rude person. The moment i told her i am not buying the products she offered me, she was all furious and getting the work done in hurry. The treatment didnt do any good to my hair at all. No straightning or smoothening happend. All a sham. making customers fool.

Zolf hairdressing wonder bead Fakes! I had beautiful hair extensions Unitll I had them cut too short so I decided to contact my usual girl that does them only to find she was over seas. I knew she used Lusciouslox hair extensions so I went to their website and looked up anothe Lusciouslox salon. I found ash Celine salon (the new zolf). I called and made an appointment to see Ashley. I got there and the told me that they had Russian hair in the same system . Well I was excited to get longer hair put in. Basicly the extensions were install so tight that they hurt. 1 week later I had bald spots and to top it off my all my extensions fall apart. I called and called and called and zolf phone was always busy ( I'm guessing all the coupons are keeping them busy). After so much frustration and no luck I decided to call Lusciouslox head office only to find that have not bought from Lusciouslox in a long time and they could not explain the issue. I later found by looking on their website and they claim the extensions to be their technology lol. I have been haing Lusciouslox done for 5 years before zolf was even around. I had to go back to my hairdresser to replace do all my hair that as malting and looked like it belonged on a homeless person. Girls be careful of these fakes. If your so good why promote with coupons and if you have high standards why use imitation products. Also you might want be sure to get you hair done before your coupons expire because you can't contact them. Do your home work!

Zolf hairdressing is the worst hairdresser I have EVER been to. Did my keratin treatment in one hour and told me he didn't want to go over my hair because he was afraid to burn me. As a result I have curly roots and straight ends. Never going back and wouldn't recommend it

I love Gia’s Hair in Kensington / Kingsford, which used to be called Elly’s hair salon. The hairdressers are always so nice and are really professional. I have very light blonde hair with red underneath, so it’s very easy to screw up.

Zolf is the worst salon i have ever been to in my life!!! I went there yesterday as i stupidly thought i had a great offer by buying a voucher from groupon which included half head highlights, cut and keratin. This was the biggest mistake i have made with my hair. Even worse than when i had it cut in Bangkok by a thai woman who couldnt speak english!!!!

Agree with zolf hairdressing.worst salon I even been to. I used my voucher groupon for keratin n haircut today but it was such a dissapointment with the poor customer service n burnt my scalp n hair as well. When I told him that the blow dryer was too hot n burnt my skin he just ignore it. The haircut honestly like the worst ever. Not sure if he was a hairdresser as he don't know how to cut. Pls be carefully when going to this saloon n buying those stupid voucher as u needd to purchase their shampoo n conditioner which end up the same price without voucher

I have my hair done by Kylie at Judena Taylor in Bondi. I have tried alot of places in the area and was put off a little at first by the price. However i am so happy I went. It was worth paying a few extra dollars to have someone listen to you and get it right the first time. I would recommend them to anyone, to try them out.

Zolf did my extensions, worst extensions ever. Very poor quality hair, claiming to be russian but after wash and closer inspection realized it had cuticles facing the wrong direction. Over half fell out in 3wks. Snapped my hair and damaged my own hair. Badly colour matched. Would strongly advise not to get any hair treatments and To not WASTE your money. Very disatisfied.
It's obvious any positive comments here are fake. Any other disatisfied customers should contact department of fair trading! I know I will.

I always get my hair extensions done at Bauhaus Hair in Waterloo - they use Great Lengths and I've have never had a bad experience - plus the customer service is excellent, everyone very friendly and really looks after you - they even started to carry the kind of tea I've requested, so I'm pretty much devoted.

I have to agree with all the other comments about Zolf. I had 1/2 head of hair extensions put in about 5 weeks ago- they only placed in around 35-40 strands. After 3 weeks they started falling out everytime I brushed my hair (I bought the hair extension brush from them). I'm not quite sure how they placed them in because I have wire in each strand of hair where the wonder beads are about 2-2.5cm (they are still in my hair by the way, sticking out from the wonder beads). Does anyone know why they put wire? You couldn't see it when I had my hair extensions in, as the glue from the hair extensions were covering it - it felt hard but I thought it was the glue that kept the strands of hair extensions together. I have tried to research the wonder beads but no were does it state there is wire. Hmmmmm ????

I would definitely say Bauhaus Hair in Waterloo - the guest service and attention to detail there is like no other salon I've ever been to. You get really personal service and beautiful colours - it is on the pricier side, but very worth it in my opinion.

Rimaju in Campsie. Near Campsie Station. Ask for Yuni, I always walk out feeling extremely satisfied and they make an effort to be nice even if youre just there for a fringe/bang cut. Best layers, even if you have very thick hair.
