One of the best ways to unwind, and get back in touch with nature, is to walk through some beautiful gardens. From beautiful blooms, to towering trees, there are some amazing landscaped gardens all over Sydney. We want to find the best. Whether it is a gorgeous place that provides peaceful walks, or a collection of amazing and exotic plants, there are many things that make a garden great. We know a few places, but we want to hear from you.

The Royal Botanic Gardens have a brilliant array of of flora, from all over the world. There are numerous feature gardens that allow you to visit not only Australian gardens, but ones from all over the world. See some unique species in the Rare and Threatened plants garden, or travel through the Rainforest Walk. This is a lovely place to sit and have a picnic, and a very romantic place to head with a date.

Eden Gardens could be the perfect place to gain inspiration for your own garden at home. Eden Gardens aren't the same as regular gardens, while you can spend hours wandering and admiring the flowers, you can also get some valuable times. There are art, gardening, floristry, and plenty of other workshops and classes.

For a garden with a bit of a difference, you might enjoy the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour. Wander past the waterfalls, lakes, and exotic plants, and relax in the peaceful surroundings. During festive times you can catch some interesting performances at the gardens, and it is a popular place for yoga, tai chi, and meditation.

There are so many other beautiful gardens to explore, but where can they be found? We want to know where you think we can find the best garden in Sydney. It could be beautiful, it could be informative, or it could just be the ultimate escape. Wherever it is, we want to know about it.

I have to admit I love the Botanic Gardens...it would be hard to find a garden in Sydney with a better view than that. But the Chinese Garden of Friendship is a lovely little oasis, and if you're lucky you can see the little water dragons that live there :)

There's also Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby which is really nice and secluded, and is lovely for a picnic or having a walk around.

Last weekend we went to Swain Garden in Killara - 77 Stanhope Road. A surprising jewel in the middle of suburbia - quiet, relaxing - occasional musical events - devonshire teas if they don't run out of scones - worth the effort of finding it!!
