3 Sweet Halloween Treats in Adelaide

These days Halloween can be summed up with the phrase '
trick or treat'. Trick or treating is less common in Australia, but more and more kids are going door to door on October 31st begging for candy. Some hate it, some love it, but one thing is clear: sweets are cool and trick or treating as an adult is just a little bit creepy in the wrong way.
So how can you get your Halloween sweet fix? Here are a few places that will be doing something a bit special on All Hallow's Eve.
1.
Milkaholic's Halloween Dress-Up Night
%%61A Edward Street, Norwood
Opens 7:30pm on Halloween%%
Milkaholic are really getting into the Halloween spirit, by hosting a Halloween Dress-Up night on the 31st. There's no word on whether there will be any special spooky desserts, but staff and customers will be dressing up in their freakiest Halloween gear.
There's a good reason to dress up too, the two best dressed on the night will each get a $50 Milkaholic Voucher. It's enough to make you scream.
If you've never been to Milkaholic before check out a few reviews first from
Ash Sambrooks and
Samantha Lau . Make sure you order a smoothie, because they're definitely one of the highlights.
2.
Halloween Cupcakes at BTS
%%33a Pirie Street, Adelaide
Open 7:30am-5pm on Halloween%%
BTS on Pirie Street are known for their adorable cupcakes with pop-culture names, but these sweets will be looking a little different come Halloween. They'll be dressing up for the occasion and putting on their most ghoulish gowns.
The cupcakes that you know and love with have special Halloween decorations, and perhaps even some special names. You'll have to go down to find out.
Halloween falls on a wednesday, so you'll get to choose from BTS' regular Wednesday range. These includes cupcakes like the
Lafayette Belgian chocolate cake with creamy peanut butter frosting centre, and chocolate ganache frosting. Or the
Violet, a pure blueberry cake with lemon cream cheese frosting. It would be great to see a pumpkin cupcake make a special appearance.

3.
Eggless Halloween Themed Night
%%162 Goodwood Road, Goodwood
Opens at 8pm on Halloween%%
Eggless will also be having a dress up night, and we can bet that all the staff will be getting involved too. So find your best costume and join the line-up at 8pm. Of course we want to hear about desserts, not just costumes, and Eggless won't disappoint.
As well as being the last day to try out their current October menu, there will also be a range of Halloween themed dessert specials. Eggless mean business when they say wear a costume, and you won't be able to order from the specials board unless you're all dressed up.
[ADVERT]Eggless are always creative with their desserts, we're hoping for a good old American pumpkin pie, and possibly some ghoulishly green treats too.
Check out their
Facebook page , or read this review of Eggless by

For something extra, why not pop down to Food Glorious Food or the American Candy Stand and pick yourself out some American candy for your own 'trick or treat'.
