Swagman's Post Courtyard Cafe

Home > Things to do in Sydney > Cafes
Published October 22nd 2010
Located in the Rocks among cute terrace houses, this small quaint cafe has good food and coffee, and a lovely atmosphere. It is in a great location for brunch or lunch during the Rocks markets. There is a beautiful garden courtyard in the back of the cafe.

I visited for brunch, and was impressed with the fresh and tasty feta cheese and basil on Turkish bread I ordered. The coffee was also good. They offer an all-day breakfast menu, as well as pastas, sandwiches, foccacia, burgers, salads, fresh juice, and cakes, with lunch starting from 11am.

Prices are quite expensive, but expected for the location. They range from $15-$25 per main. The service is friendly, attentive and prompt.

This is a very cute historical cafe that is worth a visit if you are in the area.
