On every Wednesday night, the
Suzuki Night Market is held at QVM to provide locals and tourists a place to meet under a vibrant and fun-filled environment. It has been a summer tradition in Melbourne for more than a decade, presenting some very talented artisans as well as showcasing a wonderful array of locally-made clothing, jewellery, artworks, decorations, and ethnic produces. In addition, a wide selection of hawker style food is available, such as the Korean potato chips, French crepes, pancakes, German sausages, and lots more to choose from.
QVM stresses the importance of sustainability. It is highly concerned about environmental protection and aims to raise the public awareness regarding to responsible choices. Measures taken include renewable food packaging, electricity generation from solar panels, reduction in water wastage, effective waste management and the use of efficient energy lighting.
Live performances of bands and musicians are also present at the venue, providing people with free entertainment and all together creates a stimulating vibe.

As previously mentioned, the Suzuki Night Market only runs in the summer on Wednesdays 5:30pm to 10pm, from 16/11/2011 to 29/02/2012 (excluding 28 December 2011).
