Think you're the best boss in the universe? Here's your chance to prove it! No need to take on the world, just dress up as a superhero for the day, and help to raise money for children's charity HeartKids .

The first is fast approaching. If you've got a great boss, nominate him or her. If you are a great boss, nominate yourself!

On Thursday 19th February 2015, managers will swap their suits for a superhero outfit to raise donations from friends, family and colleagues. Fundraising activities can be whatever suits your workplace: morning tea, golf day, casual clothes day – whatever you like. Donations can be made through the online sponsorship page .

HeartKids Victoria/Tasmania is a non-profit organisation that provides hope and support for children with Childhood Heart Disease (CHD) and their families, while raising awareness and vital research funding for this chronic disease. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in Australian children under one year of age, accounting for more than 30% of all childhood deaths. Heart defects are the most common birth abnormality in this country, affecting one in 100 babies.

not only raises awareness for HeartKids, but provides a team building environment for colleagues to work together in achieving their fundraising goal.

To register as a Super Boss, click here . To nominate your boss as a Super Boss, #openform ">click here . Note that there is a minimum fundraising target of $500.

As a reward for being super and registered, you will receive a Super Boss 'Online Toolkit' which provides the information and tools required to enable you to raise funds and awareness for HeartKids. You will be sent a Super Boss 'registration pack' in the mail. There will also be prizes along the way so don't miss out!

Want to support your favourite boss? Click here to donate. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Among those already signed up for are Norm Hutton (HeartKids Victoria/Tasmania Chief Executive Officer), Mike Brady (Musician, Presenter and Ambassador), and Paul Stoner (Chief Executive Officer, Biggin & Scott Corporate).
