In the heart of Maroochydore stands the modern and impressive Sunshine Plaza shopping centre. The Plaza itself is situated on top of the river, so the walk there is pleasant and peaceful as you follow the river.

Along the river area there are clothes stores and coffee shops on one side and on the other there are pubs, bars and cafes. Also situated on the outside area are the bubble rollers where you can be placed in an inflatable bubble raft and have some great fun running like a hamster in its wheel.

Alternatively there are two-person pedal boats so you can explore a small part of the river. Within the Plaza you will have your usual big shops such as Coles, K-Mart and Myer, however along with brand name shops the shopping centre also offers specialised and boutique shops.

The building itself is wonderfully built and has two levels to offer the shopper more shops. With such a big area and spread over two levels it can be hard to find what you are looking for, this predicament is taken care of with well positioned touchscreen information monitors; a simple press and you immediately know where to go.

All that shopping can be tiring, resting and getting a bite to eat is easy, within the confines there is a food court with a large seating area. In this area you will feel like a fat child in a candy store - there is so much choice, from oriental cuisine to more traditional Australian meals.

As you walk through the well-presented and well-kept Plaza you will notice the kiosks in the middle of the walking aisles, these kiosks range from phone amenities to hair and beauty services. You have what you want at Maroochydore Plaza.
