Take advantage of summer and celebrate a great Australia Day on Sunday 25 January at SummerFest on the Brisbane River at Kangaroo Point. With a public holiday the next day, it's a perfect opportunity to get together with friends and family and enjoy a relaxed Sunday.

Party on down by the river to the pumping music of a live DJ accompanied by a saxaphone player and live acoustic vocals.

Tickets are $35 each and include one drink and a meal from the mouth watering sizzling spit roast.


A fun addition to this Australia Day event is their Surf's Up machine where festival goers can try their surfing luck. The Aussie beach theme continues with the beach bum bar where you can relax with a drink and watch the day go by.

There are also plenty of market stalls to wander around and snap up a bargain.


Gates open at 12pm and the festival continues throughout the afternoon. SummerFest is held at Riverlife Function Centre, Naval Stores, Lower River Terrace, Kangaroo Point.
