Living in a society where productivity is key to success we have all been wired to feel like we have to have something to do, all the time otherwise we will accomplish nothing, which leads me to talk about holidays.

There is nothing worse than feeling a lack of purpose and aimless when you've got some free time coming up. What are you really meant to do? It's not like someone gave us instructions as what to do when we are left alone with our imagination.

With christmas holidays coming up, not everyone can afford to go on a trip overseas, even though it seems like that's what all your mates have got to talk about.

This is why I've taken it upon myself to encourage you to get off that pitiful anus and do something that'll satsify your senses.

For this summer I suggest a project for everyone and since we are constantly bombarded by renovation shows, left right and centre, why not get motivated to build something ourselves?

My plan for this summer is to build an outdoor deck and all the furniture to go along with it. I'll keep you all updated with the progress of my project but in the mean time, I'll give you weekly tips for how to start your little summer project because it is just a shame to waste all that energy.

First tip: Walk around your house, your backyard, front yard and the garage and write down the things you think the house is missing and the things you'd like to have. That's all I want you to do for now.

Don't forget, that having something to do is just as relaxing as having nothing to do.
